This competency-based and standards-aligned course is the second part of the second level in a series of six learner-centered courses designed to develop Level 5 (High Intermediate) communicative competence and build skills in:

Instruction, tasks, and projects in this course are designed to help adult English learners develop essential language skills and content knowledge related to their civic, educational, and career advancement goals, and to support their successful transition to either our highest level of ESL (Level 6), academic coursework, or career training classes.
